Fender Stratocaster

 Up for sale is my Foto-Flame Strat '62 Re-Isssue. IMHO Japanese Fenders play much better than American ones and this one plays like butter. Rosewood fingerboard, "C" Shaped neck and tremolo. Also included is an RS Guitar Works electronics kit that I haven't had time to install. OHS case. I really hate to part with this guitar but financial difficulties force me to sell some of the guitars I don't play as much anymore. There are 2 splits in the Foto but if you aren't looking for them they are hard to see and they don't show up in pics. The Foto is kinda like wallpaper, if you stretch wallpaper over a sharp corner it tends to tear. At the neck joint this is happening. It looks like a crack but it isn't, in 35 years of playing guitar I have never seen a neck crack at it's thickest point. I have pics of this minor defect, if you don't know about it you would assume it was part of the finish.Vintage Guitar Magazine Price Guide lists this at $575.00 I'm putting a low starting bid on this guitar for a quick sale.
