Fender Stratocaster

PAYPAL ONLY.  Up for auction is a genuine made in Japan Fernandes Strat style guitar in excellent condition and ready to enjoy.  I got this from the original owner and he said he bought it in 1989.  It has the L series serial number plate, see pic.  It sure is in nice shape for an '89!  You'll like it.  He upgraded the pickups to a set of genuine Fender Noiseless pickups and the guitar sounds great!  ($200 value) They are noiseless and have a great vintage strat tone.  In fact, these pickups are now standard on the Fender Eric Clapton model, which should tell you something!  Neck is straight, action is low and comfortable, frets have some wear, but have plenty of life left. Finish is original and very nice, no dings or dents just very minor scuffs and scratches.  Used, but well cared for.  There is one tiny filled screw hole on the back of the peghead just below the A tuner.  I'm not sure if it will show up in the pic, but it is very minor, no biggee.  Also, the original owner had a midi pickup located near the bridge and he kept that pickup when he sold the guitar to me, this left a small hole in the pickguard near the bridge where he trimmed the pickguard to fit the midi pickup, see last pic.  I just stuck a piece of black paper in that spot to make it less noticeable because I liked the look of the tortoise pickguard.  Anyway, I'm including the original white pickguard that came with the guitar if you wanna change it back.  Your choice.  There is no hole in the guitar or anything weird like that, just a little slot in the pickguard.  The back plastic cover plate has some hairline cracks around the screws, see pic.  Overall, a very nice guitar for the age.  And with the Fender Noiseless pickups you are getting the sound of a $2400 EC guitar for a very attractive price!  A lotta guitar for the money!  Comes with a non-original hard case and the original white pickguard.  Shipping is $30 domestic, $75 Canada, $145 International locations.  Payment is by Paypal only, please.  Bid with confidence, my 11th year on eBay, people seem to like my stuff!  Thanks, Jeff
