Fender Stratocaster

 Wow....I was not gonna go under 350 and look!  Am i nuts?!?  Yes!  I guess I need money. This is an amazing neck that was custom built from Musikraft.   It's new , never even mounted yet!  One piece maple. (upgraded wood, can't remeber type, very dense...) There are abolone markers. Med frets.  And a 12 radius! You almost never find a 12 radius on a dense rock maple neck. It's perfect and straight. Truss 100%. Stevie had the 12 radius.  I actually wanted kind of a Stevie type neck, but maple, when I was originally looking for necks and found this, so thats why I mentioned Stevie. The headstock is a larger Jazzmaster type as well, so you can put the curved Fender logo decal on it and it would look cool.  The waterslide decals install nicely on these nitro necks... ( I put the paper cutout in the picture for reference)    These awesome tuners which I thought looked cool were like 69 bucks.  When I got the neck (for 380 at the time) the guy siad that it was made for him and it was made so well because he was a friend of the Musikraft guys. So I guess they put a little extra effort into it.  I actually have another Musikraft neck that I use on a different guitar and the build quility is really great.  I know I am playing this up, but after buying all kinds of necks over the years i really am astounded at the quality of this thing. It's like a work of art. When you hold it and feel the satin nitro and look at the almost translucent grain hues. It's sick.  It makes an 800 dollar Hot Rod neck look like a toy. I think the only reason these musikraft folks don't charge 800 for necks is not because the quality is less, but because the market doesn't allow it. If you know Musikraft stuff then I don't have to tell you, but if you are new to them don't even think for a second this is in the same league as a Mighty Mite, or even a Warmouth in my opinion.  Anyway, Look at the pics and think about it. Hasn't even been mounted yet, so there are no holes even drilled! ! Slot for nut of  your own. I think the quality of this neck is superior to anything Fender makes, even the Hot Rod or Custom shop necks. For the price of a Mexican crap neck you can have this professional quality neck.   The neck is fairly chunky and the width at nut is 1.65.  Cheers! adam Also, I do want to add that it is more chunky than a 57 reissue.  More like a 62 Hotrod chunkiness. I just mentioned those, again, becuase when I was on the search for a neck I was looking at Stevie necks, Hotrods, re-issues, etc. I always liked maple though and I always wanted a flatter radius.   Anyway, this neck is really, really nice. It's almost not worth it to me to sell. I could save it for the future, but I'll deal with the future when it comes.
