Fender Stratocaster

Good condition, meaning it has some scratches and dings... it may be described as "very good" but to be safe let's say good condition. This is certainly pretty nice but not mint or excellent...

The face is nice and fairly clean although there are a few dings that I could not capture in pictures. The back is also pretty nice with some light scratches here and there; the sides show some mild dings.

It is by no means trashed or all beat up; I want to be as accurate as possible with no surprises or disappointments. Some players must have guitars in brand new condition and some people do not care at all about the condition; some are in the middle, with some wear being acceptable.

That said, it is a loaded American Standard body, with all original parts and case. The date in the pocket is January 26, 1998. Only thing missing that I can tell is the neck, neck plate and tremolo bar... I hope to locate one in my box of parts...

It is a classic, a real beauty to me, a nice sunburst strat waiting for the neck of your choice. Rosewood or Maple is acceptable on these; I am pretty sure that Fenders of this era and this series do not differentiate between 2 tone sunburst for maple and 3 tone for rosewood... so either is fine, appropriate and correct. Then again, something unusual or exotic is also cool...
