1989 Fender Stratocaster Strat Plus Guitar Body

Here's the body from a 1989 Fender Stratocaster Strat Plus electric guitar. I will be listing the other parts soon. This body is in nice condition. As evidenced by the difference in shade between the pickguard area and the rest of the body, there is slight uniform discoloration or fading, which as far as I know is normal. There is one ding on the tail to the left of the strap button, one chip toward the front of the main cavity, and some other minor signs of wear, but no significant damage or evidence of abuse. I don't know what type of wood it is. According to my postal scale, weight is 4.75 pounds.
