Fender Stratocaster

  The guitar has a very nice natural patina. Actual guitar for auction is a 1999 Squier Standard Stratocaster. Loaded with a 2009 bridge / mid USA Fender Standard Alnico V pickups and a 2009 USA Highway One Alnico 3 neck pickup. The vintage tremolo system has a large steel T block with the steel Fender logo stamped saddles. Tremolo arm is a short 60's reissue. Very nice and shiny with a few scratches. Only notoble is the paint chip at the neck base and someone actually matched the paint touching it up (see photo). The 1999's are rare because of the poplar wood body (10th edition guitar blue book). Gives forth a bit darker tones with the large headstock / poplar body. More sustain with the large steel T block & one piece maple neck. Reminds me of Trowers' "68 Strat. Don't miss out.
