Fender Stratocaster

FENDER U.S.A. CUSTOM SHOP STRATOCASTER PRO CLOSET CLASSIC IN RARE SHELL PINK.  This one was built by the Fender Custom Shop in October of 2008.  Frets are excellent.  No major signs of wear.  Fender Custom Shop pre-ages the nitro finish to give the look of a guitar that has been sitting around for the last 40+ years.  It's hard for me to tell if there may be a couple of pin-size dings or if that is part of the Custom Shop aging treatment.  These Strat Pro's are the smoothest playing strats ever to come out of the Custom Shop...IMO.  I own several of these and am thinning the herd as they say in order to fund more recording gear.  This one comes with original G&G made in the USA Custom Shop case, Certificate of Authenticity, Vibrato Bar, Extra Springs, and various Hang Tags, etc.  This is an amazing guitar with tremendous tone, sustain, and tons of vibe!

Stratocaster Pro Closet Classic

The Stratocaster Pro guitar was designed with the professional player in mind, with features and looks representing 20 years of the Custom Shop's most requested modifications. Every feature here has been proven on other models; many have only been offered on the personal instruments of various artists and have never been offered together on one guitar—until now!

Features include three Samarian Cobalt Noiseless™ pickups, Custom Classic tremolo, locking tuners and LSR roller nut, a 12”-radius satin-finish neck with American Standard frets, a big-peg headstock, a neck access heel that was available only on the Jeff Beck Signature Stratocaster, our own Greasebucket™ tone circuit (eliminates the usual gain loss when using the tone control), and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

These guitars feature our “Closet Classic” treatment—built as if it was bought new in its respective model year, played maybe a few times per year and then carefully put away. It has a few small dings, a mildly checked finish, lightly oxidized hardware and aged plastic parts.
