Mao and Stratocaster. Two icons of the 20th century. One I got this sculpture from China...Mao holding his famous army overcoat, taking a cigarette break between heroic poses. Reminded me of a studio musician taking a break. And it just so happened I had a perfectly 1/6 scale Fender Stratocaster with mini stand that worked perfectly.
So this piece of, well, "art" has been part of my studio of years, and now I thought I would share it with another deserving Mao/Stratocaster fan!
Well, what is art supposed to do, if not make you think a bit, and maybe smile!
